I switched from a Pro Tec helmet. In my situation I wear XL sized and the Pro Tec not only cramped my head, giving me headaches, but it was also hot and didn't have the proper cushioning that helmets should. So overall I thought the price was a little high but in the end I think it's worth it! The visor is just the right size and it doesn't loose any peripheral vision while providing the needed shade during a sunny day! As for quality this helmet will last a long time not to mention the replacement policy that bern has, check it out on their website if you are unfamiliar with it.
