What do you think the best Deck, Wheel, Bearing, and Trucks are?

I would go with the Dregs 40" Paradox board, some Bear trucks, green Retro freerides, and a set of bones swiss bearings. That would be an ideal setup.

I don't know what secter 8 is, I think you mean sector 9. And yes they are very nice longboards but my specific preference in a dropthrough deck somewhere around 40". That matches to the deck I already recommended. After that I'm sticking with my original thoughts on the wheels, trucks, and bearings. But, you don't have to listen to me or anyone. Just take it with a grain of salt and collect whatever info you think you need.

I'm a big fan of my Bustin Stike as an all around performer.

This is a pointless thread. There is no such thing as a "best" longboard. They all have their pros and cons so there is no board that is perfect for everything. Also, every board doesn't feel the same to each person. Stuff has to be set up on a personal level. There is no generic set up that trumps all of the others. Anything listed on this thread is just going to be an opinion. Generally speaking, softer bushings, higher degree baseplates, and flexy boards are better for carving while boards with no flex, low angeled baseplates, and a personalized bushing set up are more "stable" when going fast or sliding.

me 3. Everyone is different. also different terrain may require different setups. Like today I learned that standup slides + grom race + chambers = lame cakes.
