$80 complete from a friend, get it or not?

Hey Zach..nothing wromg w/ buying stuff from buddies..as long as its in decent shape..but just think..a few reviews..a couple mowed lawns..a car or two washed..and you could be buying a brand new deck of YOUR choice from the site right here ! some great deals on completes..not much more tham 80.00..but hey..those sidewinders are rocking trucks ! So..choices..choices..go w/ what you know..thing is..have fun !

..is have fun out there ! I have all sorts of set-ups, long,short,etc,..they're all fun to ride...I don't ride any one for any certain terrain, just whatever comes along. Enjoy.

Personally, IMHO sidewinder trucks suck. The double pivot just adds unnecessary height to ur board making it uncomfortable to push. And the design really doesnt do anything. get normal trucks, they are a lot better and you can cruise on pretty much anything so it's up to you. There are many more options on better products here on Social. if you need help choosing feel free to ask.

Oh and another thing, if you want some turny trucks or something get better bushings. They will be cheaper and a better investment in the end.

im new, but i ordered a dregs paradox complete, and im pretty sure its come with love ur mommas and idk wat trucks, but ik a good amount about longboards because i researched all about them for like 2 weeks nonstop before i bought my board

Just 1 more comment Zach..I don't consider myself a longboarder..I am a skateboarder..period..I like & ride em all..I hate categories..short,long,hard,soft,stiff,flexy,topmount,dropthrough,tail,tail-less,cut-outs,oldschool,popsicles,punkpoints,pigs,cruisers,..point being..Skateboarding saved my life..from many things..including boredom,alcohol,divorce,etc. I love it..in all forms.Thanks Zach for the inspiration.

if your serious about longboarding like powerslides and tricks then save up and get the dreggs if you just need it for transportation then get the sector nine.

i would get it then get new trucks and wheels or just buy the deck
