pro-tec makes some of the best half shells at the best price. This has saved my head more than once and prevented whiplash. I have a relatively big head I guess and wear an XL, but I still feel secure in it. When I'm chewing gum, my head hurts from the pressure of the shell, but that may just be a good thing because the helmet fits so well.
