If you want a wheel that slides all day and never stops these are the wheels for you. They have an easy release from grip to slide, and stay sideways as long as you want. These are extremely icy wheels but not like other wheels (82a Race Formulas, 81a Classic Zigs, etc.) Instead, they feel like a very soft skateboard wheel, meaning that they don't have a ton of grip and then release its more of a... Overall I really like these wheels, I have been cycling between them and the 78a versions. These definitely stay sideways longer but sometimes can ice out on you, usually its not a problem though. These wheels also wear very consistant just like other race formula wheels. I also like that these wheels dont get flat spots easily even if they're held at 90°. Abec 11 freerides tend to do that after a... Read Entire Review

If you ever wanted a downhill wheel, a cruising wheel, any wheel for a bigger longboard this would be it. 70mm is the sweet spot for Race Formulas. This particular wheel is grippy when new which is partly due to the mold release, but super slidey when you break it in. My setup right now with these BC Moray Randal 180s S9 RF OS 82a 70mm

These wheels can be put on a longboard or slalom board and will preform great on either. The lip on the 69mm is different that the others, there is no square lip, instead the progression of the lip extends all of the way out to the edge of the wheel. I would recommend these in either the back of a slalom board with 82a (Red) ones up front OR in the front of the board with 78a (Yellow) in the back!

These wheels were something I purchased after finishing off a set of abec 11 freerides (72mm78a). These wheels left almost as much thane lines as the abec 11's but lasted over twice as long, the wear was also very consistant (little to no flat spots). I was able to ride these wheels all the way to the core, unlike the abec's which got a flat spot and then that spot persisted all the way until reac... Read Entire Review

These wheels are pretty cool. If you have a topmount with wheelbite issues these are a good idea. They are super grippy sense the lips so so thin but have great rebound. The 82a formula lasts a really long time and the wide contact patch means a consistant smooth sliding wheel.

I've been riding these around on my Earthwing Hightailer for about a month now and I'm incredibly satisfied. They slide well when you want them to and hook back up perfectly. I've yet to see any coning or much wear at all on them. The only downside I can think of is that they are a tad on the loud side, and not the most comfortable, but I ride mostly over very rough pavement, only reason I didn't ... Read Entire Review

this wheel will wear down like Abec 11 classic thane. it has a super super nice smooth slide. However, it may be chattery at first when new. This is one of Sector 9s best wheel other than race formula. Definitely try these out.

Fast as funk, being 82a they have the highest roll speed. But, they are also a tad on the icy side, these make a good slick all around wheel somewhat similar to an abec 11 78a classic zig. Grippy because of the lip, slick because of the duro. Very fun wheels for everything!

The slide on these is pretty good, kills a decent amount of speed because they are 75a. When new they grip pretty good too. I dislike how slow these wheels roll due to their soft duro. Alright wheels but you could get better for not much more money.

These wheels wear down pretty fast, have a pretty cheap urethane slide meaning that they shed thane when sliding = buttery slide. However, they wear down super fast, they are a pretty slow wheel. The good? they leave FAT thane lines. I'd say, only use these if you got them for free. Don't look to get these, invest in a better wheel.

Same as the 70mm or 74mm wheels also offset. These wheels grip pretty hard and have a very nice slide. When they are fresh they are ideal for racing and once broken in they make an excellent freeride wheel. The core in these babies is SO small. Smaller than the core of the centerset wheels so it will take you a little while to core these puppies. Good economic wheel.

This is by far my favorite half shell, offers a lot of protection using new age padding but doesn't have anything not needed so the weight is less than other half shell helmets. Another nice thing is the sweat saver lining in this helmet so even though you sweat this catches it and keeps it out of your eyes. I have fallen hard in this helmet and it has saved me countless times. This helmet also sh... Read Entire Review

I have been riding these wheels for a while and I am impressed with them. They hold their shape SO long.(lips don't deform even when they get around 66mm). They are dope wheels that last a long time and stay the way they're supposed to, fast and grippy. Buy these you will not be disappointed.

this is a great fitting and comfortable helmet. unlike a lot of helmets i have gotten before, this one actually reaches mid forehead and a comfortable spot on the back of my head. i like it a lot and always wear a helmet!

these wheels are some really interesting wheels, they are made up of 2 duros, 85a underneath and 80a on top. they are super grippy and fast and then once broken in they are super smooth and great for freeride. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tjrgwDFIsM this is a great review and idea of what they are like except these are the 78a ones but they are still similar. great wheels

Overal I really like these wheels. These and the 70mm have almost the same contact patch. While the 73mm ones are significantly wider, these aren't so they have a slide extremely similar to the 70mm ones, which, is an awesome, buttery slide. Since these are 76mm though that means there is more thane on the wheel to shred off!

these wheels have a great roll speed, grip well, and slide super smooth. you can dh and freeride them. Though they are a little more expensive than most wheels, I still recommend them for anything you want to do. get these wheels! they are a great price on this website!

Overall these wheels on a short board are sick. While they not be the best wheels on a longboard because they are so small, on hybrid, mini, or regular skateboard these wheels exceed expectations. The 9 bal formula slides very well, especially on those tech slide decks. Snag a set while you can!

I would highly recommend these if you are crusing, carving, freeriding, or downhilling. So essentially any type of riding. These will make your ride a little more enjoyable because they absorb small cracks and little imperfections in the road to help you feel it less in the feet. And, if you have a drop through mounting board you can just cut them so they fit.

i disagree with the other review and think it is well prices. if you want a good freeride board for both freeride and flat land stunts this board is great for you! though it is a bit heavy and long, it is still super fun. this complete is a good all around set up and makes it easy so you can buy and skate as soon as possible!

This is a good board to start out on. It has a little bit of flex, mellow concave and slight nose and tail. It's pretty wide though so be careful when choosing. The gullwings on it arent the best, but they work to some degree. Good freeride board for slowish - mediumish speeds. Buying parts separately would save you money.

Overall these wheels are pretty lame but great if you are on a budget and need a wheel that lasts. Straight out of the box they do not hold their grip long and have a somewhat icy slide sideways. That being said, they are very fun for stand up slides once broken in or slightly coned.

Overall I really liked these wheels, they grip great fresh out of the box and continue to hold their grip until they cone. Once coned, the wheels are great for freeriding. They have a low chance of icing out unless you are predrifting at higher speeds. To sum it up, if you are looking for a good DH wheel and then a long lasting freeride wheel check these out!

these wheels are super cheap and surprisingly decent. I slid mine for a while but eventually they got gross and i did not like them anymore so i switched to abec thane which i liked a lot better but for the price, these wheels are decent

Yeah they work and everything. Icey slide, flippable for coning prevention, but they are rather expensive compared to the 70mm centers. These just have a bigger contact patch. 70mm will be cheaper and more worth it in my opinion. Other than price, these are really fun. Don't downhill with these, they are really really icey. It's very slidey and to me a little scary using 82a. I'm 145 lb. so make y... Read Entire Review

The 80a Dual Duros as far as downhill just feel weird. Yes it's fast, but when I slide I really like to shed speed whereas this duro doesnt allow that as much. It's not as grippy as I'd like. I'd definitely prefer 78a over these 80a DDs

Started riding these for more technical downhill. these are comparable to the 77mm race forms in that they both have sharper lips. Drifting is really nice although I hear once these wear down the lips may chunk due to the thinness. Shed speed well. Liking them so far.

My favorite wheel ever. I started riding these at Giants Head Freeride and had they are awesome. Very predictable slide and last a fairly long time. They do always chunk once they are about 65-55mm, all Race Forms seem to do this. That does cause some ovaling but thats better that flatspots. These wheels are centerset so you can flip them to reverse coning and they will last longer. They have a ve... Read Entire Review

These are my 2nd favorite freeriding wheels right now. Smooth slide and great wear pattern. I keep buying these wheels. Soon Sector 9 is probably going to change up the core a bit, but for right now I've had no problems. Flippable with a smooth slide. Almost as smooth as abec 11, but this one has a more even wear.

These gloves are pretty nice. Delrin feels very light, but it's very loud on the pavement, but there's no thumb puck which kind of sucks. I fixed this problem by velcro-ing a water bottle cap to the thumb. I am liking the gloves for right now, a bit pricey but it's okay. The delrin is wearing down pretty quick. Looks like I'm going to get some UHMW. I would probably make my own gloves right now un... Read Entire Review

I'd give this wheel a 4.5. If this wheel was pre-broken in, which I could probably find someone to do with a lathe it'd be a 5. 82a Race Formula is pretty icey in my opinion. It's kind of scary sliding these wheels because they slide so well. It's hard to grip, and you don't shave speed too much. But because it's a centerset freeride shape, 82a is the way to go.

These Dual Duros are definitely race worthy. It's a fast urethane, and a big harder durometer inside that mimicks a larger core. I haven't gotten all the way down to the 90a, but so far, I've been really happy. I am not happy about the price though, it could have been cheaper, but it's either these or cannibals for DH racing. Slide slows you down a lot, yet it's super quiet and perfect for throwin... Read Entire Review

All in all, this wheel is pretty boss. It feels like Abec 11 thane in that it has a buttery slide, fast urethane, but evidently flatspots easily. Don't get these wheels if you're going to try gripping corners. I tried skating down a garage with these and because there was no lip, I couldn't grip.

If you want a cheap wheel with race characteristics, use these. They have the Abec11 freeride core and shape. The race formula is great and yellow wears out faster than the harder duros, but these last longer and wear better than any other wheel I've ridden

This is a great beginning board. I learned everything on this board. Bearings with the wheels are great, but the Gullwing Mission 1 trucks suck. It doesn't return to center. Overall, this is a good beginning board, but a bit overpriced

these are great freeride wheels, but they just are too freeridey haha. These wheels are super hard to control when you are doing a slide and slide out from underneath you way too easily which sucks. other than that if you are used to it, they are super fun and smooth
Was this review helpful?
these are ridiculously smooth and amazing all around wheels. they are really cheap and will last you a good amount of time and you will love them that whole time. the 78a mixed with round lip makes them super smooth and amazing for sliding, yet the race formula thane makes for great dh thane too! get these wheels!
these wheels are super smooth but too smooth at times. when you are doing a big slide, they ice out and become hard to control which is really scary when you are doing fast huge standies. other than that these wheels are amazing and super cheap!
